Radioactive Iodine Treatment

Hi, I will be going for radioactive iodine treatment next week.

Can I use almond milk in my coffee? I lost the pamphlet that hospital gave me to follow and unable to locate in the website the diet article and what kind of food i have to take for 2 weeks.

I hope you can help me. Also I am confused about eating seafood, fish and shellfish. I know for two weeks, I can't take any seafood.

Please telephone the hospital immediately and request the information again. Or, contact your physician/nurse practitioner for the instructions prior to treatment with the radioactive iodine.

I can not advise you in this matter. It is beyond my scope of expertise.
