Keloid Scar Removal Internally

by Jason

I have keloid skin and unfortunately have had 5 knee surgeries over the last 2 years. There is still inflammation in my knee. The range of motion has not returned and I can feel what seem to be silicon 'rocks' inside my knee.

Do you know of anything that will help break down internal keloids ?

RESPONSE

I have not heard of this condition before.

The only thing I can think of would be to soak a guaze cloth with tincture of iodine; apply it to the knee area; place a plastic cover over it and then wrap an ace bandage around it to hold it in place.

You need to be careful that the iodine doesn't burn the skin. Watch it closely to see what happens. Check it after an hour to see if it has soaked in enough to reach the scar tissue and loosens up the area.

That's the only thing I can think of that might work.

Let me know what happens.
