Lack of Energy

by Laura
(Iowa)

I seem to have "run out of steam". Could iodine give me more energy?

ANSWER

Iodine can certainly give you more energy.

This works in an "around about" way. One of the symptoms set out on Iodine Deficiency, is fatigue.

When the thyroid is not functioning properly because of the lack of iodine in the diet, it is impossible for the body to maintain the metabolic balance.

This imbalance affects every cell in the body which includes the available energy needed for normal everyday living.

I suggest you consider adding iodine to your diet - either liquid iodine such as Lugols or the pill form, Iodoral.
